Essential Information

Accommodation:

Teahouses or Lodges are accommodation types during the Annapurna Circuit Yoga trek that provide basic facilities but are comfortable to stay in. Generally, bathrooms are outside the teahouses. Walking daily long hours on the steep ascending and descending rough trails can be challenging for trekkers. This trek is suitable for trekkers with an average level of physical fitness as it does not involve any technicality. Previous experience is preferable. Annapurna Circuit Yoga trek demands trekkers to have a high level of fitness. Trekkers should be physically and mentally sound to join this trek. With proper preparation, physical fitness, and acclimatization, it is achievable. Your familiarity with the mountainous terrain and previous trekking experience will be plus points. Besides, maintaining good health and necessary check-ups before the trek proves to be fruitful. Some physical exercises and mental exercises to carry out before the treks are as follows:

Detail Itinerary

Day 01 Kathmandu arrival

Elevation: Kathmandu (1400 m) 30-minute hotel drive.

We will pick up you from the International Airport, and transfer you to the hotel. Evening meets with your Trekking Guide. Brief about the trip, after that welcome Yoga session.

Day 02 Drive to Besishahar

Elevation: Besishahar (760 m) 5-6 hours’ drive.

The guide will pick up you from the Hotel, and drive a taxi to the Bus Park. Local bus drive to Besishahar. It takes about 5 to 6 hours to drive. Overnight at a local Tea House.

Activity: (Yoga classes in the morning and evening).

Day 03 Trek to Bahundanda

Elevation: Bahundanda (1852 m) 5-6 hours trek. Elevation gain: 1092 m

This is the first day of the Trek, so walk about 5-6 hours to Bahundanda. Walk through the local villages, and follow the Marshyangdi River. Overnight at Local Tea House.

Activity: (Yoga classes in the morning and evening).

Day 04 Trek to Chame

Elevation: Chame (2710 m) 5-6 hours trek. Elevation gain: 858 m

Following the Marshyangdi River bank, trek for about 5-6 hours to Chame this day you have beautiful views of the Himalayan Ranges and waters. Overnight at a local Tea House.

Activity: (Yoga classes in the morning and evening).

Day 05 Trek to Pisang

Elevation: Pisang (3250 m) 5-6 hours trek. Elevation gain: 540 m

Walk through the Jungle, Apple Park, followed by Marshyangdi Rivers, today you are closer to the beautiful Himalayas, it takes about 5-6 hours. Overnight at a local Tea House.

Activity: (Yoga classes in the morning and evening).

Day 06 Trek to Manang

Elevation: Manang (3540 m) 5-6 hours trek. Elevation gain: 290 m

It’s a short walk to Manang village, it takes about 4-5 hours. Overnight at Lodge at Manang.

Day 07 Acclimatization Day

Elevation: Gangapurna Lake (3657 m), Manang (3540 m) 3-4 hours trek. Elevation gain/loss: 117 m

To prepare yourself for the high-altitude trekking in the following days, an acclimatization day is essential. You spent the day exploring the places around Manang. You visit Gangapurna Lake formed from the glaciers from Mt Gangapurna (7,454m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Khangsar Kang, and Glacier Dom and then see some areas of the village. Also, visit a cave monastery where you meet the resident monks and learn some secrets of Buddhism. Overnight in a teahouse.

Day 08 Trek to Yak Kharka

Elevation: Yak Kharka (4050 m) 5-6 hours trek. Elevation gain: 510

Trek to Yak Kharka (Yak Parking) which will take about 5-6 Hours, overnight at the Local Tea House.

Activity: (Yoga classes in the morning and evening).

Day 09 Trek to Base Camp

Elevation: Base Camp (4450 m) 5-6 hours trek. Elevation gain: 400 m

Walk very slowly, because if you push yourself fast, then you might get an altitude problem, drink a lot of water, and walk for about 5-6 hours. Overnight at Local tea house at Base Camp.

Day 10 Trek to Muktinath via Thorang La Pass

Elevation: Thorang La Pass (4130 m), Muktinath (3800 m) 7-8 hours trek. Elevation gain/loss: 966 m/1616 m

The early morning guide will give you a wake-up call at about 3 AM, have a light breakfast, and start to walk Thorang La Pass 5416 m, the world’s highest pass, after that trek to Muktinath, which will take about 8-9 Hours. Overnight at the local tea house at Muktinath. This will be the longest day for trekking.

Day 11 Drive to Pokhara (by local bus)

Elevation: Pokhara (822 m) 8-9 hours’ drive.

After breakfast, a Local Bus drive to Pokhara takes about 8-9 Hours, and check in to the hotel. Evening explore Pokhara Lakeside yourself.

Activity: (Yoga classes in the morning and evening).

Day 12 Drive to Gorkha

Elevation: Gorkha (862 m) 4 hours’ drive.

Drive to Gorkha which takes around 4 hours. Rest at the hotel. Explore Gorkha Palace, Gorkha Cave, and Kalika Temple after relaxation. In the evening, in the vicinity of Gorkha, attend an evening Yoga class. Stay Overnight.

Day 13 Drive to Kathmandu

Private transportation drives to Kathmandu, which takes about 6 Hours’ drive. Enjoy an evening with a Typical Nepali Cultural show dinner.

We will transfer you to the international airport at your comfortable time, and fly out. Or if you wish to extend your holiday in Nepal for extra activities, we will assist you.
