Everest Base Camp Yoga trek in the surroundings of the iconic Everest Base Camp and amazing Sherpa settlements at such elevations is an extraordinary adventure. Cross the surroundings of Sagarmatha National Park and pass through attractive villages such as Namche, Khumjung, and other Sherpa settlements. Immerse in Sherpa people’s culture, and lifestyle. Throughout the trek get the breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Kantega, Thamserku, etc. from different sections of the trail.

Visit the largest Tengboche monastery in the region. At the iconic Everest Base Camp, get sights of Khumbu glaciers and icefalls. Hike to the highest point of the trek, i.e. Kalapatthar (5,644.5m). A vantage point where travelers can get close-up views of Everest, Lhotse-Nuptse wall, Pumori, and other surroundings. The Yoga sessions in the vicinity of the Everest region are a worthy trekking experience for those who are looking for newness in this EBC trek.

Itinerary

We will receive you from Kathmandu Airport and Transfer to the Hotel in Kathmandu. Meet with the Guide and brief about the trip, welcome yoga session. Overnight at the Hotel.


You will start your day by driving towards Manthali (at 2 am), the drive takes about 4 hours, you will then fly to Lukla, normally it takes about 20 minutes flight to Lukla, after that, you can enjoy Breakfast at Lukla, and starts to trek to Phakding, it takes about 5 hours, Enjoy lunch on the way or have lunch upon arrival to Phakding. Overnight at Local Teahouse.

Note: As of current the flight for Lukla only flies from Manthali, if the provision changes and the flights resume from Kathmandu, we will take the flight from Kathmandu itself.


We follow the Dudhkoshi River today up to Larja Bridge and straight climb up to Namche Bazaar. Today you entered Sagarmatha National Park, check the post at Jorsalle after that enjoy lunch at the Local teahouse at Manjo or Jorsalle. Today you can see Mount Everest on the way to Namche for the first time. Overnight at Local Teahouse.

To adjust to the local height and climate, today we will have acclimatization day For breakfast, we will climb up to Everest View Hotel, Syangboche airport, Khumjung Village, up to 4000 Mtrs, and enjoy lunch at Khumjung Village. Khumjung village is the largest Sherpa Village around this area, you can see their Culture. You can enjoy the panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam, Kusum Kangguru, and many more mountain views from the Everest View Hotel.

After a 6-7-hour trek, you will reach Tengboche (3860 m), a perfect viewpoint to observe the beautiful peaks of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku and a greater part of the Himalayan range in the Khumbu Region. The highlight of this village is Tengboche Monastery. Evening Overnight at Local Tea House.

Dingboche lies at about a walking distance of 6-7 hours. Due to the increasing altitude, you will be walking slower than on previous days.

This will be the second acclimatization day. You will be taken on a day trip to Chhukung Valley and back to Dingboche. Rest and rejuvenation are quite essential to continue the trekking the next day.

On this day our destination is Lobuche, and the walk takes about 5-6 hrs. We will see the memorial of those who lost their lives during the expedition. Night at a lodge in Lobuche.

The next segment of your trek, Lobuche to Gorakshep is short and can be completed in about 3-4 hours, just in time for lunch. After resting for a few hours, we will take you on a walk to Everest Base Camp in the evening to see the beautiful sunset over the majestic Himalayas. Then we return to Gorakshep for the overnight stay.

You will begin hiking (about 2 hours for Kalapatthar) early in the morning lying at an altitude of 5550 m, which is the highest point you will reach in this Trek. This is well known as a perfect viewpoint to see all major parts of the Himalayan range, including Mt. Everest itself. If the weather permits, you will get to see a spellbinding sunrise, something you will not find elsewhere in the world. Take as many photographs as you like and go back to Gorakshep for breakfast. Shortly afterward, you will descend to Pheriche, overnight at a lodge.

Another day of descending, trekking, and overnight at the local Teahouse in Namche Bazaar.

Decent trek down to the Lukla. This is the last day for the Trek, have lunch at Phakding village and overnight at the local Teahouse in Lukla.

Fly to Manthali and drive to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel. Evening enjoys the Cultural show Nepali Typical Dinner.

We will transfer to the international airport at your comfortable time, and fly back home.  Or extend your stay in Nepal; we can arrange other activities on your request such as more Cultural, and spiritual Tour, Jungle safari, Rafting, and many more.

Note: Due to the unpredictable weather conditions, the flight to/from Lukla/Kathmandu may not go as per plan-there might be chances of delays and cancelations, so it is always highly suggested to have 1 or 2 extra days apart from the trek plan.


What's included

  • Accommodation: Basic teahouse accommodation during the trek (Toilet and bathroom will be outside of the room; Deluxe accommodation for 2 nights in Kathmandu with Breakfast.
  • Meals: 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner (1 main course on each meal, which you can choose from the menu) during the trek; breakfast in Kathmandu
  • Transportation: Manthali-Lukla-Manthali flight. Kathmandu-Manthali-Kathmandu drive. Airport - hotel - airport transfers by Private Transportation.
  • Documentation: Trekking permit (Sagarmatha National Park) and Khumbu village entry permit.
  • Human resource: A professional and experienced Yoga Trekking guide (English speaking), and a strong porter for every 2 trekkers, carrying up to 25 KG, all the expenses for the guide and Porter are covered (wages, accommodation, meals, transportation, insurance, etc.)
  • Equipment: Yoga Mat.
  • Tax/Service Charge: All applicable taxes, service charges, or fees. We hereby guarantee you no 'hidden charges' afterward.
  • Emergency Rescue Service: Should any emergency arise during your trek, we will provide prompt and professional rescue and medical services. However, you must be already insured for such emergencies, and your insurance policy must cover helicopter evacuation. Moreover, you should provide your policy details and authorize us to deal directly with your insurance company on your behalf. Please make sure that your insurance will cover helicopter evacuation up to 5500 meters.

What's not included

  • Beverage (Cold/Alcoholic drinks, Bottled Mineral Water, boiled water, tea/coffee, etc.)
  • Any other expenses of a personal nature (extra meals/Snacks/Dessert, Wi-Fi, battery charging fees, photography charges, Hot Shower, etc.)
  • Tips for Guide and Porter (Expected) and any Donations.
  • Your travel insurance, Nepal Visa, and International airfare.
  • Excess baggage charges on the Domestic flight (The airlines allow 15 kg per person, if the luggage is more than 15 kilos approx. USD 1 per kilo will be charged additionally).
  • Activities (Sightseeing/tours) in Kathmandu (which are available at applicable extra cost)
  • Any costs arising due to the weather conditions, delays or cancellation of the flights, incomplete trip due to personal problems, mountain sickness, early/late return from the trek and costs other than those mentioned in the inclusion section.

CANCELLATION

  • Free cancellation up to 60 days prior departure
  • 30% of the total cost of the trip will be charged if cancelled between 60 to 30 days prior to departure date
  • 60% of total cost of the trip will be charged if cancelled in between 30 to 14 days prior to departure date. 
  • No refund will be provided if cancelled within 14 days prior of departure date.
  • No refunded will be provided if the guest will not show up. 
  • Regrettably, in case where the trek/tour can not be completed due to customer's own problem or sickness or unfavourable weather there will be no refund. 
  • If the trekking/tour is extended more than given itinerary extra charge will be applied accordingly 
  • If the agreed trip can not be organised due to bad weather or any unforeseen events, similar trip will be organised (in the mutual understanding with the travellers)
