Day 01 Kathmandu arrival

Elevation: Kathmandu (1400 m) 30-minute hotel drive.

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to the hotel, meet your trekking guide, and brief about the trip, and Yoga in the welcome session.

Day 02 Drive to Syabrubesi

Elevation: Syabrubesi (1503 m) 6-7 hours trek. Elevation gain: 103 m

Your guide will meet you at your hotel around 6:00 am, and drive to the bus park to catch your ride to Syabrubesi. Our journey to Syabrubesi (6-7 Hours) starts via Trishuli Bazar, Betrawati, and Dhunche. Check in to a lodge in Syabrubesi, for an overnight stay.

Day 03 Trek to Lama Hotel

Elevation: Lama Hotel (2470 m) 6-7 hours trek. Elevation gain: 967 m

This will be about 6-7 hours’ walking. At first, cross the bridge and follow the riverside. Then you get past the landslide and after a bit hard climb, reach Bamboo to take lunch. Although the last part also consists of climbing to get to Lama Hotel, you can enjoy a very nice scenery view on the way. Mostly your walking will take place through the jungle all day. Overnight at a teahouse.

Day 04 Trek to Langtang Village

Elevation: Langtang Village (3430 m) 6-7 hours trek. Elevation gain: 960 m

It will take about 7-8 hours of walking, mostly walking inside the jungle; so cool weather will be along the way. You can hear different birds singing. You can meet Sherpa and Tamang people in Langtang Valley. Spend the night in a teahouse.

Day 05 Trek to Kyanjin Gompa

Elevation: Kyanjin Gompa (3865 m) 4-5 hours trek. Elevation gain: 435 m

After 4-5 hours, you will reach Kyanjin Gompa. You see the Langtang Himalayan range on the way. Kyanjin Gompa is surrounded by the Himalayas. After lunch visit one of the oldest yak cheese factories in Nepal. You can also, of course, see the yaks. You also can do a side trip to the Cheese factory and Kyanjin Gompa, then watch the beautiful sunset, before retiring to a teahouse for the night.

Day 06 Hike to Kyanjin Ri

Elevation: Kyanjin Ri (4773 m), Kyanjin Gompa (3865 m) 6-7 hours trek. Elevation gain/loss: 908 m

This rewarding segment takes about 6-7 hours. We will carry packed lunch because there are no places to eat. This is one of the famous trekking peaks in Nepal which you can climb without any special climbing gear. Enjoy the Langtang Himalayan range and back down to Kyanjin Gompa. As usual, you will stay in a teahouse for the accommodation.

Day 07 Trek back to Lama Hotel

Elevation: Lama Hotel (2470 m) 7-8 hours trek. Elevation loss: 1395 m

Early morning enjoy the sunrise views around the Himalayan ranges, after that trek back down to Lama Hotel, overnight at the Local Tea House.

Day 08 Trek to Thulo Syabru

Elevation: Thulo Syabru (2210 m) 5-6 hours trek. Elevation loss: 260 m

At first, walk down to the bamboo landslide then walk up to Thulo Syabru village, overnight at tea house.

Day 09 Trek to Sing Gompa

Elevation: Sing Gompa (3250 m) 6-7 hours trek. Elevation gain: 1040 m

It will take about 6-7 hours, mostly uphill climbing, to arrive at a tea house in Sing Gompa. Explore around Sing Gompa, overnight.

Day 10 Trek to Gosaikunda

Elevation: Gosaikunda (4380 m) 3-hour trek. Elevation gain: 1130 m

It will take about 3 hours to get to Gosaikunda, it’s a holy lake, and many Hindu people visit this place, very scenic and beautiful place, have lunch at the teahouse then explore the Gosaikunda, Surya Kunda, and hillsides. Night at the tea house in Gosaikunda.

Day 11 Exploration Day

Elevation: Surya Peak (5145 m), Gosaikunda (4380 m) 8-9 hours trek. Elevation gain/loss: 765 m

Explore around and climb Surya Peak, and adore the stunning panoramic snow-capped views of the mountains. Overnight at Gosaikunda.

Day 12 Trek to Ghopte via Lauribina Pass

Elevation: Lauribina Pass (4610 m), Ghopte (3430 m) 6-7 hours trek. Elevation gain/loss: 230 m/1180 m

We move around the lake’s shore before ascending towards the Lauribina Pass (4610m). The Helambu region begins at the Lauribina La (pass) and descends to the Melamchi valley. The trail is rough and crosses moraines, but is well marked with cairns. We pass through three more small lakes before reaching the pass. We climb a small hill and enjoy excellent views of the area. Our trail passes through Surya Kunda before reaching Ghopte. Overnight in Ghopte.

Day 13 Trek to Khutumsang

Elevation: Khutumsang (2470 m) 4-5 hours trek. Elevation loss: 960 m

We walk uphill and downhill on a trail that passes through dense forests. Walking on a trail through the forest will take us to Thare Pati Village. We climb a ridge above the village and continue our trek. The view from the ridge of the Nepalese hills and Soli Danda in particular is beautiful. We cross two suspension bridges before reaching Melamchi gaon which is a beautiful village that houses a monastery. Overnight in Kutumsang.

Day 14 Trek to Chisapani

Elevation: Chisapani (2200 m) 5-6 hours trek. Elevation loss: 270 m

We pass a stupa and cross a small stream below Chisapani. Our trail passes through forests that lead up to Ama Yangri which is the highest point of our trek today located at 3,800m. There is a stupa and Buddhist prayer flags at the top of the hill. Furthermore, we get stunning views of Mt. Shishapangma and the Langtang ranges. The mountains are so close that we feel that we can almost touch them. As we descend, we can often see yaks grazing in the bushes before entering a forest. We also walk on a trail made of broken stone before reaching Tarke Ghyang which is a beautiful Sherpa village. Overnight in Chisapani.

Day 15 Trek to Sundarijal, and drive back to Kathmandu

Elevation: Sundarijal (1390 m), Kathmandu (1400 m) 4 hours’ drive. Elevation loss: 810 m

We trek through meadows, fields, and beautiful villages to reach Sundarijal. From here we drive to Kathmandu and reminisce about our trip in the Langtang and Helambu regions. Overnight in Kathmandu.
