We booked a trip to Nepal in October 2024, where on the one hand we did a mountain hike and on the other hand we planned cultural excursions to get to know the country better. After doing quite a bit of research before booking, we chose Outdoor Himalayan as the company we wanted to work with. We had excellent contact with Ram as contact person. We found communication to be excellent throughout the experience – from the booking process to the final journey back to the airport. It is a well-organized company, everything went punctually and correctly. We would therefore strongly recommend this company to work with.Hiking in the Annapurna Mountains gave us great satisfaction. Krishna, our guide was very professional. The porter Prakash was great too. They respected us and were very attentive to our needs during the trip. Our guide was also able to tell us a lot during the walk and during the visits in the Kathmandu Valley. He also made great efforts to get to know other places than anticipated. ..5 stars from us…Nepal was a memorable and unforgettable experience. Thanks to the team at Outdoor Himalayan for an amazing trek of the Manaslu Circuit and Tsum Valley. Our guide Bishwas Aryal and porter Ramhari Lamsal were a great support during the challenging 20 day adventure. Our guide Bishwas is a knowledgeable professional, always thinking 3 steps ahead on the route. It didn’t take too long to realize that a guide in the Himalaya is a coach as well as logistics manager, safety expert, physical and cultural geographer, and master dhumbal player. Apart from his amazing physical capacity, our porter Ramhari (Hari) Lamsal was one of the kindest and thoughtful people we met, in a nation of kind and thoughtful people. What a fantastic Tsum Valley trip we had. Very amazed with their variety of travel schemes for our different holiday lengths. Each of us was assigned a guide, Anil and Mingma. Both were super, great, and friendly. Highly recommend the Tsum Valley trek which was gorgeous with travel/teahouses, etc. Support from Outdoor was super great.

Langtang trek on October 2024
This is the second time of long trek in Nepal, it is the wonderful experience. We plan to go Langtang with Gosaikunda lake but don’t have time enough and yes we choose the same company as first time trekking. We appreciate for good take care of us include Badri, guide and porter along journey, we recommended him. Langtang is very beautiful and everybody should go. Hope to see you in another trek.

I started Annapurna Circuit Trek with Outdoor Himalayan Treks and can highly recommend them for any treks in Nepal (spacially Badri who was organizing my stay in Nepal). I did a solo trek with a guide (Rupak) and porter (Thakur). Both guys were very nice and made me feel super comfortably during the trek. Although, I got altitude sickness and was not able to finish the trek I never felt unsafe with them. Here a big shout out to Rupak who is not only a fun and friendly guide, he also has a good judgement with more difficult situation. I would definitely choose him for any treks!

A great job by Outdoor Himalayas with accommodation, weather issues, and helping each individual. I enjoyed our Everest Base Camp, Cho La Pass & Gokyo Lakes trek. A memorable experience with our exceptionally skillful and helpful guide, Krishna Pokharel. Some of my friends paid double for the same trip I did and suffered delays as well.
I highly recommend Krishna (guide) and Outdoor Himalaya for any trek.

We, Tristan & Sacha from Canada had an amazing time during our adventurous Manaslu Circuit Trek. Despite being physically tough, reaching the highest point i.e. Larke/Larkya La Pass summit at an elevation of 5,106 m is worthy. The stunning views from atop were phenomenal.
A huge shout out to our porters, welcoming Nepalese along the trail, and our friendly guide Rupak for taking care of us throughout the trek. Our porters ensured our journey was smooth and less tiring. On the other hand, the hospitality of local Nepalese provides a special feeling.
Also, not to forget our friendly, attentive, and kind guide, Rupak. Cheers to Rupak for his exceptional effort throughout the trek and for taking care of our health and safety. Thank you so much for everything to Rupak and the team of Outdoor Himalayas. A small effort has made a significant difference and we were happy to create an unforgettable experience.

Choosing Outdoor Himalayan Treks was the right decision for our trek with an additional visit to Pokhara. Badri was helpful throughout with our queries and issues. Also, the time with our guide Dilli was great and went quickly. Making most of the available for an off-season trek was commendable. Being vegan-just not “only” vegetarian-was a bit harder than I had expected. Our porters were also satisfactory.

Wir sind zu zweit die Tour Langtang-Gosainkund mit Guide Subba und Träger Prakash gegangen und waren begeistert. Kompetent, stets gut organisiert und gut gelaunt war alles perfekt für uns und durch die zugewandte und aufgeschlossene Art der beiden haben wir uns eher als Familie denn als Reisegruppe gefühlt, wir haben zusammen geschwitzt, aber hatten auch viel Spaß gemeinsam. Dadurch, dass wir nur zu zweit mit den beiden waren, wurden uns auch Kontakte zu Einheimischen ermöglicht, die es mit einer großen Gruppe so nicht gegeben hätte. Unsere individuellen Bedürfnisse wurden jederzeit berücksichtigt. Danke für die phantastische Zeit
