Trip Overview
Yala Peak Ascent or Yala Peak Climbing takes you to the Langtang Valley, a protected area of Nepal. It lies in the Langtang National Park. It includes rare wildlife like red pandas, Himalayan black bears, wild boar, langur monkeys, snow leopards, and others. The trekking trail to Yala Peak moves through this region, increasing your chances of seeing these animals. After reaching the base of the peak, we establish a base camp at around 4800 meters. We also make it to the summit from the same camp. Starting early morning when the stars are still shining in the sky, the summit will reach before noon. Yala summit is undoubtedly the best vantage point to soak up an infinite Himalayan panorama.
Yala Peak Ascent comes with marvelous treks in the Langtang Region through the virgin lands of nature in Nepal. With the expert Sherpa guides of Outdoor Himalayan Treks, you will have an unforgettable peak climbing experience. After we drive to Dhunche from Kathmandu, which takes about six hours, we start the trek. Initially, there is subtropical vegetation; but as the trail gains elevation, there is a thick forest of oak, birch, rhododendron, and pine. You will find Alpine grasslands and yak pastures in plenty at higher altitudes. The Langtang Valley also treats the trekkers with a unique cultural experience. This region is the home to Tamangs, an ethnic group of Nepal rich in its unique customs and culture.
