Highly reputable and reliable trekking company

I had an excellent experience during my solo Manaslu Circuit trek. Manaslu being remote, a guide was compulsory and was accompanied by an extremely knowledgeable and helpful guide Krishna. A flexible and best service was provided. Everything was well-organized and the communication with Ram was very easy. Outdoor is a highly reputable and reliable trekking company and highly recommend this company and Krishna as a guide!

Great experience

My Annapurna Base Camp trip with my family and friends from March 5-11 was enjoyable and one of the most memorable in my life. Madhav and Sudip have become great travel companions throughout the trek. They are informative, communicate well, and keep everything under control. Overall it was a great experience and when I come back to Nepal I will use this again and recommend it to others.

Great Hike through Chisapani and Nagarkot with Dilli

A 3-day hike through Chisapani and Nagarkot for the very first time in Nepal with an amazing guide Dilli was amazing. The mountain views were stunning and the accommodation was very comfortable and pleasant. We recommend this company and especially Dilli who is a great guide always helpful and nice.

Great Trekking Company

I booked a trek to the Everest Base Camp with Outdoor Trekking and was very pleased. The trip was organized well, from airport pick-up and drop-off, airplane flight to Lukla, Lodges, and food, and the drivers, guide, porters, office staff everything in between were very well thought out and went everything smoothly. There were no planning mishaps. I find it very thoughtful of the guides to carry fruits for us to share along the trek.

Make sure you hire porters and a helicopter flight back down to Lukla, it is well worth it when you are tired at the end of this altitude trek. Our guide Suba was very knowledgeable and experienced. Our manager Badri who cared about doing a good job and about the trekkers was very kind, and understanding.

I got altitude sick and had to be helicoptered back so I didn’t quite make it. But the trekking company made sure that in Kathmandu everyone stood ready to care for me. They were kind and checked up on me in the hospital until I was released two days later. Nothing came out of my pocket for these expenses as the trekking company ensured all trekkers had insurance for this.

It was easy to find on foot the office as it is located in central Thamel, Kathmandu. I went on this trip solo and was matched with another solo traveler. Proper care was taken to make sure the needs of each trekker were accommodated (i.e. the other trekker was a bit faster and stronger and went with the porter to higher altitudes during acclimatization).

Any changes I would recommend are to request to plan a trip like this over a longer time frame to have more acclimatization time and to also request for the guides to walk just a tad bit slower. We were always the first ones at the Lodges for the day having most of the day without much to do, I would have preferred to stop more along the way to see the scenery more and get to the Lodges later.

There was a traditional Nepalese meal with some sort of performance that was planned but was erased later which I would have liked to attend.

Highly recommend checking your Itinerary and double-checking costs always as they change frequently. I was very happy with this trekking company and plan to go back with my son next time.

Perfect Tour ever

Very good time for us

We visited Ghandruk and places nearby which was a real pleasure with our guide Dilli. Our guide informed us about the habits of the local people and solved all the problems. It was a very wonderful time. So I highly recommend outdoor Himalayan treks.

An unforgettable trip!

Our EBC trek has been a lifetime experience that was well organized from start to finish and I highly recommend it! The views were amazing, beautiful weather and friendly people.

We are forever grateful for all the support from our guide Rupak Rimal who went above and beyond, and he is my favorite person in Nepal 🙂 He is very kind and gentle with a great sense of humor, trustworthy, and very professional. He took care of me when I wasn’t feeling well, checking on me constantly to make sure I drank enough and even carried my backpack when I was weak. I can’t thank him enough. Our group loved him! If you are thinking of doing the trip, I would highly recommend having Rupak as your guide. You will feel safe and well taken care of!

I am also very appreciative of the great support and hard work of our porters, especially Milan. Not only were they diligent in carrying the heavy bags, but they were also helpful and attentive once we reached the lodges. Bringing us food and tea and making sure we have everything needed.

It was truly an incredible experience! And I would not hesitate to trek with them again!

First Trekking Experience!

I enjoyed being surrounded by nature and being immersed in the beautiful mountain landscape in my first trekking experience (a 3-day custom Poon Hill trek). The first day was tough but after my body adjusted to the exercise (I usually sit in an office for 10 hours a day). My guide Dilli made sure we were comfortable and even lent me a warm jacket for the coldest part of the trek. He was very attentive and took very good care of my brother and me. Dilli was like a personal trainer keeping a good and comfortable pace. I will be back in the future to explore the mountains.

Unforgettable ABC trek experience

An amazing experience after completing 9 days of Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trekking. OHT provided us with the best guide and porter, Ganesh and Krishna. We had such a good time together. They took great care of us and did a great job with us. Couldn’t ask for better ones.

I came to OHT by coincidence and luckily made all my Annapurna Circuit trekking arrangements with them. Earlier had no plan to take a guide, but my trek plan was designed focusing on my wishes. Ram was always ready to help, also during the trek and Bish (my guide) was a perfect match for me 🙂 I am recommending this company!

5 star trip to Kathmandu Cultural Sites and Annapurna Poon Hill Trek

From the initial inquiry over WhatsApp to the personal farewell at the airport Ram and his team were nothing less than outstanding. The level of planning and care to make our trip easy, memorable, and FUN was exceptional. Our 7 days of short treks and cultural sites (Kathmandu and Pokhara) with my two teenage daughters were most memorable. We spent 4.5 days on the Annapurna Circuit which was stunning even in the low season. I can’t wait to go back to see the Rhododendron Forest in bloom and make it to base camp. All thanks to Ram and the team who were readily available.

I will return to Nepal and will book again with OHT and Ram.
