It has been one of a lifetime experience. Our trek to EBC was well organized from start to finish and I highly recommended it! The views were amazing, beautiful weather and friendly people. Our guide Rupak Rimal went above and beyond, and I would be forever grateful for all that he has done for me during the trek. He is my favorite person in Nepal 🙂 very kind and gentle with a great sense of humor, trustworthy and very professional. He took care of me when I wasn’t feeling well, checking on me constantly to make sure I drink enough and even carried my backpack when I was weak… I can’t thank him enough.
Our group really loved him! If you are thinking of doing the trip, I would highly recommend having Rupak as your guide. You will feel safe and well taken care of! I am also very appreciative for the great support and hard work from our porters. Especially Milan, Not only were they diligent in carrying the heavy bags, but they were also helpful and attentive once we reached the lodges. Bringing us food and tea and making sure we have everything needed. It was truly an incredible experience! And I would not hesitate to trek with them again!

I booked a trek to the Everest Base Camp with Outdoor Trekking and was very pleased. The trip was organized well, from airport pick-up and drop-off, airplane flight to Lukla, Lodges, and food, and the drivers, guide, porters, office staff everything in between were very well thought out and went everything smoothly. There were no planning mishaps. I find it very thoughtful of the guides to carry fruits for us to share along the trek.
Make sure you hire porters and a helicopter flight back down to Lukla, it is well worth it when you are tired at the end of this altitude trek. Our guide Suba was very knowledgeable and experienced. Our manager Badri who cared about doing a good job and about the trekkers was very kind, and understanding.
I got altitude sick and had to be helicoptered back so I didn’t quite make it. But the trekking company made sure that in Kathmandu everyone stood ready to care for me. They were kind and checked up on me in the hospital until I was released two days later. Nothing came out of my pocket for these expenses as the trekking company ensured all trekkers had insurance for this.
It was easy to find on foot the office as it is located in central Thamel, Kathmandu. I went on this trip solo and was matched with another solo traveler. Proper care was taken to make sure the needs of each trekker were accommodated (i.e. the other trekker was a bit faster and stronger and went with the porter to higher altitudes during acclimatization).
Any changes I would recommend are to request to plan a trip like this over a longer time frame to have more acclimatization time and to also request for the guides to walk just a tad bit slower. We were always the first ones at the Lodges for the day having most of the day without much to do, I would have preferred to stop more along the way to see the scenery more and get to the Lodges later.
There was a traditional Nepalese meal with some sort of performance that was planned but was erased later which I would have liked to attend.
Highly recommend checking your Itinerary and double-checking costs always as they change frequently. I was very happy with this trekking company and plan to go back with my son next time.

We visited Ghandruk and places nearby which was a real pleasure with our guide Dilli. Our guide informed us about the habits of the local people and solved all the problems. It was a very wonderful time. So I highly recommend outdoor Himalayan treks.

I enjoyed being surrounded by nature and being immersed in the beautiful mountain landscape in my first trekking experience (a 3-day custom Poon Hill trek). The first day was tough but after my body adjusted to the exercise (I usually sit in an office for 10 hours a day). My guide Dilli made sure we were comfortable and even lent me a warm jacket for the coldest part of the trek. He was very attentive and took very good care of my brother and me. Dilli was like a personal trainer keeping a good and comfortable pace. I will be back in the future to explore the mountains.

Amazing company and the best guide in Nepal! From arrival to Lukla flights, all were greatly covered. We were a group of 7 lads from Australia and we trekked the Everest Base camp route in October, it was amazing. Our guide Dilli is one of the best guides in the area. He organizes a safe trip to Basecamp, tours around the sites along the way, and even delivers all your meals to your table!!

I arranged the Manaslu circuit trek for my son and me from the UK via an online connection. All planning was smooth and first-class arranged by Badri. When we arrived in Nepal things couldn’t have been better – the airport transfers, Kathmandu hotel, and the amazing trek were all brilliantly managed. My acquaintance recommended this company for the Manaslu circuit trek. I went in a group of 2 with just me and my friend. Rammani completely took care of our logistics and all processes from beginning to end. Even in our WhatsApp conversation, he was very responsive and accommodating with everything we needed during the trek. Our experienced guide Subba took care of us as his family. He was warm, personable, cheerful, and easygoing throughout the whole trip. We felt safe with him the entire time. Our Nepal and Bhutan trip in 2020 was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed in 2023. Badri was constantly in touch with us and we decided to only continue with the Nepal trip.
I have visited Nepal 6 times previously over 20 years and have never tired of this amazing place and its fantastic people. I have done EBC, Langtang, Mardi Himal, Poon Hill, Pokhara and Chitwan. And of course Kathmandu many times. This time we decided on Everest View Point and Dingboche Monastery over 7 days.
Our guide Bish and Porter Rass were brilliant. The guys took care of my unwell travel partner and arranged my trip plans to continue while he rested.
I would recommend Outdoor Himalayan as a ground agent as they have in-depth knowledge and experience and are efficient and well-priced. 5 stars!!!
They even arranged a KTM city tour and golf for us at the end of the trip. Amazing.
