I met with Ram who took us through the plans and fine details of the plans. Ram assisted in fine-tuning our trip and properly arranged our Everest Base Camp tour and impromptu added Pokhara trip. Our guide Dilli and a Porter Pratap made sure our trek was memorable. They ensured all our queries were answered professionally and honestly. Even they celebrated our mate Chek’s birthday at Everest Base camp with a complimentary cake! A memory I’ll cherish for a lifetime!

Amazing company and the best guide in Nepal! From arrival to Lukla flights, all were greatly covered. We were a group of 7 lads from Australia and we trekked the Everest Base camp route in October, it was amazing. Our guide Dilli is one of the best guides in the area. He organizes a safe trip to Basecamp, tours around the sites along the way, and even delivers all your meals to your table!!

I arranged the Manaslu circuit trek for my son and me from the UK via an online connection. All planning was smooth and first-class arranged by Badri. When we arrived in Nepal things couldn’t have been better – the airport transfers, Kathmandu hotel, and the amazing trek were all brilliantly managed. Our trekking guide Raz was knowledgeable, helpful, and good fun to be with throughout. Both Raz and Badri were so professional and helpful throughout. There were no hidden extra costs and everything was set out for us.

My acquaintance recommended this company for the Manaslu circuit trek. I went in a group of 2 with just me and my friend. Rammani completely took care of our logistics and all processes from beginning to end. Even in our WhatsApp conversation, he was very responsive and accommodating with everything we needed during the trek. Our experienced guide Subba took care of us as his family. He was warm, personable, cheerful, and easygoing throughout the whole trip. We felt safe with him the entire time. When I come back to Nepal to trek in the Himalayas, I will work with Outdoor Himalayan and hopefully get to hike with Subba again!

Our Nepal and Bhutan trip in 2020 was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed in 2023. Badri was constantly in touch with us and we decided to only continue with the Nepal trip.
I have visited Nepal 6 times previously over 20 years and have never tired of this amazing place and its fantastic people. I have done EBC, Langtang, Mardi Himal, Poon Hill, Pokhara and Chitwan. And of course Kathmandu many times. This time we decided on Everest View Point and Dingboche Monastery over 7 days.
Our guide Bish and Porter Rass were brilliant. The guys took care of my unwell travel partner and arranged my trip plans to continue while he rested.
I would recommend Outdoor Himalayan as a ground agent as they have in-depth knowledge and experience and are efficient and well-priced. 5 stars!!!
They even arranged a KTM city tour and golf for us at the end of the trip. Amazing.

Heritage Discovery in Kathmandu
From the initial inquiry over WhatsApp to the personal farewell at the airport Ram and his team were nothing less than outstanding. The level of planning and care to make our trip easy, memorable, and FUN was exceptional. Our 7 days of short treks and cultural sites (Kathmandu and Pokhara) with my two teenage daughters were most memorable. We spent 4.5 days on the Annapurna Circuit which was stunning even in the low season. I can’t wait to go back to see the Rhododendron Forest in bloom and make it to base camp. All thanks to Ram and the team who were readily available.
I will return to Nepal and will book again with OHT and Ram.

My wife and I recently completed our Langtang Valley Trekking from late May to early June 2023, arranged by Outdoor Himalayan Treks. This is our second time trekking in Nepal and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This time, it was an entirely different experience – for me, Langtang Valley trekking was indeed ” Nature at its very Best ” The panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges, clean crisp mountain air against a background of the call of nature (chirping of birds, continuous gush of the river/streams, cries of the deer in the night). Walking along lush bamboo forests dotted with pretty flowers, encounters with families of yak, monkeys, mules ..an amazing sight. The sheer absence of technology / internet up in the mountains was quite a different feeling! To me, the trekking in Langtang was raw, rugged…oneness with nature. For the first two days we were going uphill with average vertical gains of 1000m each day and hitting 3300m on day 3. Steep ascents very often on narrow paths, strewn with rocks, stones, and streams required deft footwork. What goes up must come down..steep descents were a toll on our knees. The air gets thinner as we climb higher, thank goodness we had paced ourselves throughout the trek and we were blessed with excellent weather. My wife reached the peak of Kyanjin 1 at 4400m … where she enjoyed the great sense of accomplishment and the glorious breathtaking views ! The funny thing was, sharing with her moment of joy at the peak appeared two angels …two friendly dogs ! The beauty of nature is also present in the professional and experienced handling of both our guide and porter. Our guide, Subba is very experienced and was most attentive to our needs. Together with our young and strong porter, Madhov, they were a wonderful pair. In moments, when I thought I was going to slip down the terrain, a quick hand would be there to support me. Will always remember the wise words of our guide..”Take baby steps and follow the mule”. The warm hospitality of our hosts at the guesthouses provided us with a glimpse of the local Tibetan culture. The simplicity and beauty of nature !
