Our trip was truly the experience of a lifetime. Despite a minor booking mix-up, we ended up with a helicopter ride to Lukla from Kathmandu, which was a fantastic start. Ram, our tour organizer, managed all the details—from flights and accommodations to meals. When a friend injured his knee, they seamlessly arranged everything from the helicopter to the hospital. Our guide, Dilli, was exceptional, treating us like family and making us feel special. It was an amazing experience, and I’ll book with them again for future trips.

During my 9-day trek, which included visits to Poonhill, ABC, and some hot springs, I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler. My guide spoke excellent English and was very attentive. Outdoor Himalayan Treks took care of everything, including booking my bus ticket to Pokhara and arranging hotels before and after the trek.
When I decided to head to Chitwan instead of returning to Kathmandu, they easily changed my bus ticket without any additional charges. Upon my return to Kathmandu, I was even treated to a traditional Nepalese dinner with delicious food and lively dancing. I highly recommend Outdoor Himalayan Treks to everyone!

The highlight of our 10-day Annapurna Base Camp trek was our guide, Rupak. He quickly became a friend, sharing jokes, laughter, and even singing, while remaining highly professional. Rupak expertly managed the route, tea house bookings, and meals, allowing us to fully enjoy the trek while feeling safe and well-cared for.
Ram, the manager we contacted before the trek, was also very helpful and responsive, providing a detailed itinerary and addressing all our questions. The company supplied us with sleeping bags and down jackets.
Our package included 2 nights in Kathmandu, 2 nights in Pokhara, and a luxury bus between the cities, but these details can be adjusted based on your preferences.

Mr. Rijal’s deep knowledge and years of experience were evident as he helped me choose a 24-day trek around the Annapurna Circuit, including Tilicho Lake, Poon Hill, and Annapurna Base Camp. He was incredibly helpful, advising me on necessary gear and even lending me hiking poles, a sleeping bag, and a shirt. Krishna was an outstanding guide, with precise route knowledge and flexibility to adapt our plans daily. His expertise and assistance with food and locals made the trek unforgettable. My partner and I completed a 7-day trek to Langtang Valley Kyanjin Gompa with Outdoor Himalayan, who was recommended by our hotel. We chose them because the manager had a thorough understanding of the route.
Our guide, Dilli, was fantastic—knowledgeable, reassuring, and patient. When I experienced altitude sickness while ascending Kyanjin Ri and had to turn back, Dilli provided excellent support and calm. Ganesh, our porter, was also outstanding, and we are very thankful for his help.
Overall, it was a brilliant experience, and we will use their services again in the future.

As a trekking newbie, I had an incredible experience on the 19-day Annapurna Circuit trek with this company, booked through my hotel in Kathmandu. I opted for the all-inclusive package, covering transport, tickets, food, accommodation, and a guide, which proved to be a great decision.
While many trekkers go without guides, I chose to have one for safety, and Rupak, our guide, was outstanding—by far the best on the circuit. His excellent English and ongoing efforts to learn Spanish were impressive. Even though many trekkers didn’t use guides, Rupak was often sought for advice.
If you’re considering whether to use a trekking company or guide, it depends on your needs and the season. However, I highly recommend this company and Rupak. The all-inclusive cost was only about 10-15% more than arranging everything independently, which seemed fair for the high-quality service provided. Rupak’s enthusiasm, experience, and pace made the trek enjoyable, and I assume other guides from the company are similarly skilled.

Five months in Nepal have passed in a similar way that a child enters this world filled with curiosity, experiences the wonders of life fully, to finally move on to the next place peacefully and with a content smile on his face. I had never been in a country for this length of time simply travelling. As a whole, my experience was complete. I have visited temples and slept in monasteries, trekked in the Himalayas for a couple of months, danced to the festivals of colors and sang among the crowd, ate rice with lentils and vegetables and drank the sweet milk tea on the side of the road in a squat pose, took plenty of time to absorb the beauties of nature, and last but not least, have met wonderful people.

Since the moment I contacted them and still today many months later, they have been the #1 travel agency I have ever worked with.
