Annapurna (7525m) is one of the six major peaks in the Annapurna massif. In the Annapurna IV expedition, climbers need to establish three camps after the base camp to reach the top of the peak. There are numerous peaks in the Annapurna range. However, the Annapurna IV expedition is easy to climb; although there are risks of avalanches between camp I and II. The base of the mountain is two hours away from the base camp; from where half a kilometer of going up with the help of a fixed rope reaches you to Camp I. Then another leg of similar climbing for about 1000 meters, and the climbers reach Camp II. After Camp II, the slope becomes less steep and the route roundabout but a little gentler, offering relative ease to reach Camp III; we push directly to the summit from Camp III.

Trip Overview
The attractions of mountaineering in Nepal do not end with a successful summit ascent. The other fascinating aspect is the approach trek to the peaks. It allows you to experience varied mountain life and mountain terrain with an incredible diversity of ethnicities, flora, and fauna. In reaching the base camp and return journey to Pokhara, you also complete almost all of the Annapurna Circuit Trek via Thorung La Pass. When you complete this mountaineering expedition, you will have double feathers in your cap; one for mountaineering and the other for traversing one of the world’s famous trekking trails.
