Autumn (Sep-Nov) and Spring (Mar-May) seasons:

  • Ideal seasons for all graded treks (Easy to Strenuous)
  • Clear skies and Panoramic mountain views
  • Stable weather, and moderate temperature
  • Lush greenery, and blossoming flowers in Spring
  • Availability of teahouses or lodges

The following treks can be done in the Autumn and Spring seasons:
Everest Region treks, Annapurna Region Treks, Langtang Region Treks, Manaslu Region Treks, Upper Mustang Treks, Kanchenjunga Region Treks, Makalu Region Treks, Rolwaling Eco-Cultural Trek, Rara Lake Trek, Dhaulagiri Region Treks, Dolpo Region Treks

Monsoon season (Jun-Aug):

  • Lush green beauty in the region
  • Mostly Unclear views
  • Weather is unpredictable
  • The temperature is unstable
  • Slippery and muddy trails (with leeches)
  • Difficult ground transportation
  • High chances of flight cancellations (for Everest Region Trekking)
  • Limited availability of teahouses or lodges

The following treks can be done in the Monsoon Season:
Upper Mustang Trek, Dolpo Region Trek, Day hikes around the valley

Winter season (Dec-Feb):

  • Chilling cold weather
  • Drop in temperature, even minus (-) in the higher elevations
  • Heavy snowfall in higher regions but clear views
  • Less availability of teahouses or lodges
  • Chances of flight cancellations
