Trip Overview

Trishuli Gorkha Mid Hill Trek allows the trekkers to explore firsthand the mid hill Nepalese lifestyle and culture which is easy. This is not an arduous trek that takes you to high altitudes, with the attendant stress and risks. You hop from one typical rural settlement in the morning to spend your night in another; by passing through many such settlements, farms, fields, and forests during the day.

The trek starts right from Trishuli, a few hours’ drive from Kathmandu. After 5 days of leisurely walking, we arrive at Gorkha, the birthplace of the founder of modern Nepal— Prithvi Narayan Shah. Watch the spectacular palace on the hilltop and the mouth-watering scenery of Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Manaslu, Himal Chuli, and others. Then we board a vehicle and return to Kathmandu.

Trishuli Gorkha Mid Hill trek is a new trek experience for all trekkers. This trek is a good mix of nature and culture. The beautiful rural settlements, green forests, and snow-covered mountains like Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, and Himal Chuli are the major highlights.

Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Trishuli and Trek to Khaple Bas
Day 02: Trek from Khaple Bas to Boutani
Day 03: Trek from Boutani to Todke
Day 04: Trek from Todke to Jyamrung
Day 05: Trek from Jyamrung to Salyantar
Day 06: Trek from Salyantar to Khan
Day 07: Trek from Khan Chok to Gorkha
Day 08: Drive from Gorkha to Kathmandu

Essential Information

This trip requires you to be in good health and physically fit. So, we recommend thorough physical examination before you start the trek.

Skills:

Your familiarity with the mountainous terrain and previous trekking experience will be plus points.

  • Make sure that you are insured against accidents, health, emergency evacuation and loss, theft of, or damage to, baggage and personal effects.
  • In emergency situations, we will arrange for a helicopter rescue, medical treatment and after care for you. All these costs shall be borne by your travel insurance company.
