Best Time for Everest Base Camp Trek
Everest Base Camp is at an elevation of 5,364 m and the maximum elevation gain during this trek is 5644.5 m at Kalapatthar. The weather and temperature play a significant role considering the elevation. It is the challenging factor as the elevation rises weather and temperature also vary causing changes in weather and temperature. Flight Details for Everest Base Camp Trek
The quickest and easiest way to get to Everest treks is by taking a flight to Lukla. The Everest Base Camp trek is the most popular in the Everest region. Hence, in the peak season, the traveler flow is extremely high which causes air traffic in Kathmandu during the months of April, May, October, and November. Therefore, the flight schedules are operated from Ramechhap which is a 4-hour drive from Kathmandu. Besides these peak months, regular flights are operated from Kathmandu.
