Everest Base Camp Wedding Trek offers an awesome memory of the journey through the Sherpa valleys. Your journey starts with the spiritual blessing from the monasteries and shrines you will pass in the way. Making your way to Everest, you will also get traditional and authentic Sherpa hospitality throughout the way. Similarly, the marriage preparations are completed beforehand with our team managing it all. You can choose to wear a traditional Nepali dress or choose one of your own at the moment. Following the short but beautiful Wedding ceremony, you will have plenty of time for photos and sightseeing at the Everest Base Camp.

We also have a flexible and customizable trek for your D-day. You can get the most out of this beautiful journey by taking strategic day breaks. Itinerary

30 Mins Hotel

On your day of arrival in Kathmandu, we will receive you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. If time permits, we will have a brief meeting in our office.


Our office team will process for the Trekking Permits, at the meanwhile do the shopping for your wedding, such as wedding dress, ornaments, as required by a priest. Evening introduces with the Guide, prepare for the Trekking.


30 mins/4-5 Hours Lodge

Our guide will pick you up at 5:30 am and drive to the airport. You will board the early morning flight at 6:30 AM and fly to Lukla (2750M) in about 30 minutes. After breakfast in Lukla, we will walk for about 4 hours to Phakding (2610M), a fairly plain terrain inhabited by Sherpas. Afterwards, we will follow upstream Dudhkoshi River and spend the night in a lodge.


6-7 Houts Lodge

We will trek for nearly 7 hours to reach Namche Bazar (3440 m), the famous town in Solukhumbu. The last 3 hours of this trek will be tougher, but the beautiful sceneries on the way will make you will forget your tiredness. The night will be spent in a local teahouse.


5-6 Hours Lodge

To help your body adjust with the high-altitude conditions, we will spend the day for acclimatization. You can do some daytime hiking and explore Khumjung village and return to the teahouse at Namchebazar for the night stay.


5-6 Hours Lodge

After a 5-6 hour trek, you will reach Tengboche (3860 m), a perfect viewpoint to observe beautiful peaks of Ama Dablam and Thamserku and a greater part of the Himalayan range in the Khumbu Region.


6-7 Hours Tea House

Dingbuche (4450 m) lies at about a walking distance of 6-7 hours. Due to the increasing altitude, you will be walking slower than on previous days.


5-6 Hours Lodge

This will be the second acclimatization day. You will be taken on a day trip to Chhukung Valley and back to Dingboche. Rest and rejuvenation are quite essential to continue the trekking next day.


5-6 Hours Tea House

Our next stopover is Lobuche (4950M), at about a walking distance of 5-6 hours. Views of Mt. Pumori and Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse and many more are the main highlights of the day.


The next segment of your trek, Lobuche to Gorek Shep (5160 m) is short and can be completed in about 3-4 hours, just in time for lunch. Then hike to Kalapatthar (5545m) for sunrise view. You will enjoy a fantastic moment of sunset view over the top of the world, then  back to Gorakshep for the overnight.


Early morning after breakfast, go to Everest Basecamp 5370 Mtrs with needed things for weeding with priest, and do the wedding in Nepali style, it will take about 2-3 hours process, after that we will tell to Hotel to prepare some delicious food as the wedding party for our team, have a lunch and just enjoy at the Lodge.


6-7 Hours Tea House

You will begin hiking (about 2 hours for Kalapatthar) early in the morning to Kalapatthar, lying at an altitude of 5550 m. This is well known as a perfect viewpoint to see all major parts of the Himalayan range, including Mt. Everest itself. If the weather permits, you will get to see a spellbinding sunrise, something you will not find elsewhere in the world. Take as many photographs as you like and go back to Gorek Shep for lunch. Shortly afterward, you will descend back to Pheriche for our overnight stay.


6 Hours Lodge

Trek for about 6 hours and spend overnight at Tengboche.


5 Hours Lodge

Resume trekking for about 5 hours and arrive at Namche Bazar for the night’s stay.


7-8 Hours Lodge

Trek down to Lukla, which normally takes about 8 hours walking.


30 mins Hotel

Fly back to Kathmandu, where we will transfer you to your hotel. Join the farewell dinner offered by Outdoor Himalayan Treks at an authentic Nepalese restaurant with live cultural show.


If you are flying back home or to any other destination outside Nepal, we will transfer you to the airport right on time. Even if you are staying longer in Nepal and departing on a later date, do not hesitate to use our complimentary transfer service.


What's included

  • Accommodation: Basic teahouse accommodation during the trek (Toilet and bathroom will be outside of the room); Deluxe accommodation for 3 nights in Kathmandu with Breakfast (All the accommodation provided on twin sharing basis).
  • Meals:3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which you can choose from the menu) during the trek; breakfast in Kathmandu
  • Transportation: Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu flight ticket. Airport - hotel - airport transfers by Private Transportation.
  • Documentation: Trekking permit (Sagarmatha National park) and Khumbu village entry permit.
  • Weeding materials: Essential wedding dresses for Groom and Bride (Bridal dress as of Nepalese tradition) and other essential materials.
  • Equipment/Accessories: Down jacket, sleeping bags, first-aid kit, water purifying solution (iodine-based) if required.
  • Human resource: A professional and experienced trekking guide (English-speaking); a porter per two trekkers (carrying up to 25 kg); all the expenses for the guide and porter(s) are covered (wages, accommodation, meals, transportation, insurance, etc.)
  • Tax/Service Charge: All applicable taxes, service charges or fees. We hereby guarantee you of no 'hidden charges' afterward.
  • Complimentary: Farewell dinner in Kathmandu (authentic Nepalese cuisines with the live cultural show)
  • Emergency Rescue Service: Should an emergency arise during your trek, we will provide prompt and professional rescue and medical services. However, you must a for such emergencies, and your insurance policy must cover helicopter evacuation. Moreover, you should provide your policy details and authorize us to deal directly with your insurance company on your behalf. Please make sure that your insurance will cover helicopter evacuation up to 5500 meters.

  • Excess baggage charges on the Domestic flight (The airlines allow 15 kg per person if the luggage is more than 15 kilo, approx. USD 1 per kilo will be charged additionally).
  • Activities (Sightseeing/tours) in Kathmandu.
  • Weeding party at Gorepshep.

CANCELLATION

  • Free cancellation up to 60 days prior departure
  • 30% of the total cost of the trip will be charged if cancelled between 60 to 30 days prior to departure date
  • 60% of total cost of the trip will be charged if cancelled in between 30 to 14 days prior to departure date. 
  • No refund will be provided if cancelled within 14 days prior of departure date.
  • No refunded will be provided if the guest will not show up. 
  • Regrettably, in case where the trek/tour can not be completed due to customer's own problem or sickness or unfavourable weather there will be no refund. 
  • If the trekking/tour is extended more than given itinerary extra charge will be applied accordingly 
  • If the agreed trip can not be organised due to bad weather or any unforeseen events, similar trip will be organised (in the mutual understanding with the travellers)
